Not too many years ago, The Rolling Stone had a special edition magazine with their top most memorable, powerful photos from photo shoots they've done. Along with the famous pictures of John Lennon and Yoko Ono in bed together, Sting and the like, there was one of an artist who's name slips me. His picture was him resting his head on his bloody hand, and he was supposedly a famous guitarist known for playing so intensely the cuticles of his fingernails would bleed.
